Massive Issue with Recommendations for Scottish EPC

Hi Andy,

I am writing on behalf of my Boss, Glyn Mountford from Energy Management Solutions, who has been Emailing and trying to reach your colleague for the last two weeks.
the reason for that is that we are experiencing a main issue with Design builder when creating EPC recommendations for Scotland. The problem comes when editing the recommendations file or the recommendations box onto the EPC File. We can not modify the recommendations for a Scottish EPC. Your first answer to this problem would probably be that this is an issue with SBEM. Glyn had a meeting on the last Friday with people who uses only iSBEM to create EPC for Scotland and they have no problem editing the recommendations.
What can you tell me about this issue and when will this be fixed? As you probably have understood this has became a major problem as some of our clients came back to us asking why some of the recommendations did not make sense at all.
If the recommendations for Scottish EPC can not be edited on Design Builder will have to stop using it.

Cedric,

We removed the ability to edit recommendations for Scottish EPCs because of the mistaken idea that this is not allowed. Actually we got this idea because an old version of iSBEM appeared not to allow it, but it seems this was just a bug and current versions do.

Anyway I've re-instated this capability now for the next DesignBuilder release. This uses SBEM 3.2.b and we expect to get CLG approval for the version in the next couple of weeks.

Glyn has 2 others questions about the editing of Scottish EPC:

Can you also find out if when the revision is made, this means that we can edit or delete all recommendations such that only the ones we select actual appear on the certificate or the report. In addition we can add our own recommendations which will also appear on the secondary report

Can you also ask if when the revision is made if a rating is automatically calculated and appears on the certificate as a KGCO2/M2 and Rating Letter in the section under benchmarks (when cost effective recommendations are implemented)
