Hi my name is Cedric Kessler i am working as a 3D modeller / energy consultant for Energy Management Solution in collaboration with Glyn Mountford and Adrien Strzyewski who has already post few comments on this forum previously.
I am facing a small issue with one of the design i have recently done, the calculation with SBEM module for an EPC results as an "unknown error".

* [ 4] *** ERROR 1 *** : (Code unknown): B-TYPE = General

I have attached the file to this post, i would much appreciate if you could you help me and find out the reason for this bug as soon as possible.

Regards,

Cedric

Cedric,

The building type model options setting is 'General' which is not a valid NCM building type. You can change this from the model options dialog (F11) when at building level or below. Go to the Project details tab and change the Sector from 'General' to 'Retail'.

Also I'm not sure how valid it is use the 'Merge zones of same activity' model option as this can merge zones on North and South sides of the building for example which would overestimate utilisation of solar gains to offset heating energy and underestimate potential for summertime overheating.

The model still runs OK with without the 'merge zones by activity' setting so I recommend that you switch it off.

Andy
