Training package (approved by CIBSE) will provide Energy Assessors with a rapid and low cost route to become competent to produce EPCs and BRUKL reports using the DesignBuilder SBEM software. Candidates will be issued with a licence code for the software when payment is received and asked to download the training software onto their lap tops and to bring them to the course.

They will also receive a manual which will provides the essential information about SBEM that Energy Assessors need to know and detailed instructions on how the use the state-of the-art software. The course will teach candidates how to quickly load data about a building and create EPCs and reports thus greatly improving their productivity.

A fully functional version of DesignBuilder software will be made available at no extra cost when CLG releases the version of SBEM for producing EPCs.

Following the training, candidates have access to an expert via e-mail and telephone who will assist them to rapidly become competent prior to sitting an examination.
