I would recommend DesignBuilder SBEM to anyone wishing to carry out Level 3 & 4 EPCs

“When looking for software to carry out the SBEM calculation I tried a number
of packages, they were either time consuming which reduced productivity or too
costly. I then discovered DesignBuilder on the Internet at www.dbcert.co.uk.
Within ten minutes I was able to produce a building which would otherwise have taken me hours
or even days to produce on iSBEM.
When I booked onto the training course I had become quite proficient with the DesignBuilder
software. Nevertheless the training which I received provided me with additional skills and
knowledge needed to produce larger and more complicated buildings.

“I found the Design Builder training course well structured and enjoyable, the software was quick
to learn and once I became familiar with the stages of data input, I was able to create a variety of
level 3 and 4 building models in a short period of time.
We have been able to produce EPCs and easily check compliance with the building regulations.
This has been invaluable for our new build projects, where the actions to improve energy
performance can be modelled quickly. The recommendation reports were particularly useful for
this and it has already started to influence the design process and reduce CO2 emissions.
