Stroma Accreditation

Stroma offers Accreditation through both National Occupation Standard (NOS) Qualification and Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL).

For experienced energy assessors, Stroma can accredit candidates via the APEL route, which takes into account prior experience in energy assessment. For those new to the industry or with limited knowledge, Stroma offer training courses covering the National Occupational Standard diploma (NOS). Once qualified you are invited to join the Stroma Accreditation scheme.

The APEL route to Accreditation costs £450, there is no charge for applying and applicants can expect a fast and efficient response!

All the above schemes recognise that the software providers are most able to provide software training and have set up training partnerships with providers of approved software including DesignBuilder. We also expect the NES accreditation scheme to approve use of DesignBuilder software soon.
