Company ProfileDesignBuilder Certification Ltd (DBC) provides cost effective training and mentoring in the use of DesignBuilder software for producing Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) and showing compliance with Part L2 of the Building Regulations. The company runs regular courses and examinations for Energy Assessors who wish to become competent in the use of DesignBuilder SBEM software for producing EPCs on construction, sale or rent of buildings other than dwellings. The current version of the software has been approved by CLG for producing BRUKL reports for Building Control. The software will also be approved for producing EPCs when CLG releases the version of SBEM to produce the certificates. The courses are approved by CIBSE and certificates of competence issued by DBC will be accepted by CIBSE. DBC is also in discussion with other training organizations running accredited schemes to produce EPCs. DBC offers a comprehensive range of training and examination packages to those wishing to become energy assessors and to other training organizations – see Our Services. Our Aim
